Local company in Bedford, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift. Candidates must have at least two (2) years maintenance experience, be comfortable working in a foundry setting, and proficient with hand tools, welding, and have hydraulic experience. work hours: 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

Pay: $25/HR – $32/HR

Hours: 7AM – 3PM

Responsibilites:

Diagnose and repair machines and equipment

Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

Perform general facility preventive and repair maintenance

Keep the machines, mechanical equipment and the structure of an establishment running during production

Repair or replace defective machinery or parts

Melting furnace repair and relining

Operate forklift

Hot work and lockout/tagout operation

Profiency with hand tools a must

Candidate will have welding and hydraulic experience

Knowledge of PLC is preferred

Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
