Job Description

– Design supporting structures and auxiliary equipment for new shop equipment.

– Focus on specifying and installing support equipment for machinery, including bridge cranes and ductwork.

– Utilize AutoCAD 2D for design tasks.

– Support maintenance engineering and shutdown projects.

– Lead projects from design to installation, including specifying, evaluating, and installing new equipment.

– Engage in hands-on engineering during equipment installations.

– Consider industrial ventilation principles when managing machine installation projects.

– Troubleshoot mechanical issues with new equipment, such as hydraulic leaks and damaged hardware.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rittman, Ohio.

Work Environment

Design work is performed in an air-conditioned office. However, candidates will regularly work on the shop floor during equipment installations and specifications. The manufacturing floor is a castings environment, which is hot and dirty, so candidates should be aware of these conditions.
