Pay Upto $26/hr; Anoka,MN

Job Description

Employees will start out assembling the products, focusing on basic mechanical assembly. The role will involve cross-training into grinding, where they will use a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish metal to a nice finish. Further cross-training includes basic fabrication, cutting metal to length using a tape measure, and performing basic spot welding.

Hard Skills

Mechanical Aptitude: through previous work experience, school, or hobbies

Grind: experience with sheet metal and grinding

Tape Measure: must have measurement skills and understand basic math

Hand and Power tools: experience working with tools

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Anoka, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Very clean environment. Extremely large company with three separate buildings in Anoka. The building is NOT air conditioned, so this must be considered. Employees work on an assembly line, running some production. The environment is SMOKE FREE with no smoking areas outside the building. Since breaks are paid, employees cannot leave the campus during breaks.
