Job Description

A Junior Estimator will work under a Preconstruction Manager to provide detailed project cost estimates for labor, time, and materials. Responsibilities include reviewing project documents such as specifications, drawings, scopes, and schedules, providing estimates for multiple projects during the bidding process, and maintaining a database of bids. The company focuses on Drywall and Metal Framing projects, including large apartment complexes, sr living facilities, office spaces/warehouse flex spaces, and K-12 schools. Project sizes range from $50K to $9M. This role offers substantial mentorship and development opportunities.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Work Environment

The company has 60 employees, with 11 working in the office. This is an in-office/on-site role with flexibility for special occasions like doctor appointments or inclement weather. The schedule is generally from 7 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility. Junior Estimators typically work 40-50 hours per week. The work environment is dog-friendly and has a quirky, family-like dynamic. The company values individuals who are focused on long-term growth, as the owners plan to retire in 10-15 years and seek team members interested in being part of their succession plan
