Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector

Job Description

As a Certified Welding Inspector, you will perform inspections on welded products in a fabrication environment.

Utilize magnification and stress equipment to ensure the products meet specifications and quality standards according to blueprints and your knowledge of welding and metallurgy.

Inspect and evaluate weld quality: Ensure that welds on structures and materials meet specified standards and codes

Ensure compliance with safety standards: Verify that all welding activities adhere to safety regulations

Interpret codes and specifications: Apply relevant codes, standards, and procedures to welding projects

Review engineering drawings: Analyze and interpret engineering drawings and specifications related to welding

Conduct visual inspections: Perform visual inspections of welds and welding procedures

CWI certification
