Are you a CNC Programmer looking for a new position? We are currently seeking a CNC Programmer for an aerospace manufacturer in Berlin, CT. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience programming 3 and 4 axis cnc machines and someone who has worked with Solidworks before. This person must have worked as a CNC Programmer at a manufacturing facility.

salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Creating marching process for simple aerospace parts, for more complex part he would work with group of few people

Program cnc machines: 3 and 4 axis and 32 axis

Create setup sheets using existing templates

Be able to manually edit programs if necessary

Create cad models for each machining operation

Create operation sheets with dimensions for each machining operation

Be able to design fixture and create operation sheets for tooling department

Work with machine operator/setup personnel during product development

Be able to select proper cutting tools (preferred from our tool crib but we always welcome new ideas)

Use SolidWorks for making cad models and integrated with solid works Cam Works for NC programming.
