JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State College of Medicine, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a qualified candidate as a Project Coordinator for REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) a national program administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities. This position will assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects to reduce health disparities related to nutrition, physical activity, early care and education, and vaccine education among Hispanics and Latinos in central Pennsylvania. This candidate would be responsible for developing, designing, and coordinating project materials; assisting with interim and final reports; preparing and maintaining project documentation; preparing grants and HSPO documentation; assisting with writing scientific papers for publications; gathering, entering, and analyzing community level data in the REDCap data collection tool. Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, produce high-quality work, communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, and participate in and support team decisions and team responsibilities. Local/regional traveling will be required for this position. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish but not required.

Minimum Education & Experience
Associates Degree
2 years of relevant experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$34,800.00 – $50,500.00
