Red Gate Group is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for market research, business strategy, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic mid-market professional services company. You will play a pivotal role in supporting all phases of business development, including conducting competitive market analysis, assisting with proposals, and enhancing our companys positioning within the federal government contracting landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customers, competitors, and partners, presenting insights to senior leadership and influencing strategic decisions.

Analyze competitive landscapes and provide recommendations to improve win probability on current and future opportunities.

Track and monitor ongoing business opportunities, refine win strategies, and improve teaming positions.

Assist with proposal development, including research, organization, technical writing, pricing, and quality reviews.

Manage business development knowledge, document lessons learned, and organize competitive intelligence and proposal artifacts for future use.

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and ability to operate independently or as part of a team.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired:

Experience with federal government contract acquisition or a related industry.

Proficiency with CRM platforms like Pipedrive or Salesforce.

Knowledge of business development and sales strategies.

Experience identifying profitable business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
