Position Summary
Perform work involving keeping machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Essential Responsibilities
Repair and maintain buildings, walls, arches and other structures
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, siding, and other part of building structures and furnishings
Maintains electrical supply lines, and distribution boxs, trouble shooting existing facility electrical operations
Will mow grass, weed and cut brush as assigned
Safely operates and maintains tools and equipment
Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects and reports findings

Education
Required
High School or better
Experience
Required
1 year: General maintenance experience and training with experienced workers, and with demonstrable skill in at least two or more maintenance or craft occupations preferred.
