AV Integrator

Job Description

Insight Globals client in higher education is looking for an AV Integrator to join their team! The candidate will play a pivotal role in AV installations, management of network cables and fiber optics, and working on electronically complex equipment for the Instructional Technology department. They will be using ServiceNow to respond to tickets and help with troubleshooting. This position requires about 20% travel to different school campuses including but not limited too: Miami/Broward campuses, Port Saint Lucie, and DC.

Skills and Requirements

· Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience without a degree, 1-2 years of experience with an Engineering/Computer Science Degree.

 · Experience installing Medical/ IT Equipment, installing servers and racks, terminating network cables and fiber optics, experience with network switches, familiarity with electronic lab equipment.

 · Need to be comfortable with 20% travel – mostly in campuses in Broward/Miami Area, campus in Port Saint Lucie, and potentially DC

 · Valid drivers license

Office 365 – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams · Higher Education background

 · A Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science.

 · ATTENTION TO DETAIL – must be able to neatly wire

 · Experience with AV installations, building electronic test sets, and with electronically complex equipment – PCs, etc.

 · Experience with Cuestron Equipment, and ServiceNow ticketing system

 · Certifications

   Low Voltage cert.

CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) cert. null
