Adjunct Instructor of Business

Heidelberg University, located in Tiffin, Ohio, invites applications for Adjunct Instructor for the School of Business. The successful candidate should be a dynamic teacher with a strong background in business, who is able to teach a variety of introductory courses such as Introduction to Business and Community, Principles of Management and Principles of Marketing. Teaching will primarily in-person with optional modalities considered. Previous teaching experience in a university setting is preferred. 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:  This position collaborates closely with other faculty in the School of Business and will be supervised by the Dean of the School of Business.  

Responsibilities

– Teach variety of Introductory Business courses 
– Work with and advise students on careers and professional development

Qualifications

Education and Professional Experience:

– MBA or at least 18 credit hours of graduate-level business 
– Professional experience in business
– Bachelors degree in area(s) of expertise
– Demonstrated strong commitment to student-centered active learning

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: 

Various instructional technologies including, but not limited to Google Suite, learning management systems such as Canvas, video conferencing, etc.
