Seasonal Grain Laborer

Seasonal Grain Laborer | $19/hr

Monday-Sunday, 7am-7pm (During Harvest)

An established local area cooperative is looking for self-motivating and reliable general laborers to fill their Seasonal Grain Laborer positions for multiple locations in the Humboldt area (North and North East of Humboldt)! The ideal candidate should possess great communication and interpersonal skills, possess previous farm hand work or general labor in a grain facility and have the drive to be successful while obtaining great attendance! Those with stellar customer service and communication skills are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

Perform the operational functions of grain receiving/storage/handling/drying/blending and loading of grain

Monitor stored grain condition to assure highest quality product

Maintain and clean grain facilities and equipment

Cross train and assist the agronomy department in the busy season

Requirements:

High School Diploma and/or Technical College Degree

Ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs frequently

Previous work on a farm or grain facility is a PLUS!

Previous work with and around automated machinery or grain trucks

Starting Pay: $19/hr
