Opportunity Global Finishing Solutions is seeking an individual with
great cross functional communication skills, that is able to effectively
manage the overall progress of projects within the design group, be able
to anticipate and address any potential roadblocks found to keep
projects moving forward. This position is onsite in Osseo, WI. What You
Will Do Develop and execute the annual business plans and manage the
plans and budget. Coordinate all design activities of the team,
interface with key cross-functional groups such as purchasing, quality
assurance, manufacturing, sales, etc. and report project status for the
assigned projects. Serve as the technical leader and project manager for
significant development projects. Oversee key projects, processes and
performance reports, data and analysis. Develop and maintain product
standards, training systems, processes and best practices and then
ensure consistency between product lines. Implement and/or maintain a
product data management system that integrates with our ERP system
compliant to ISO 9001. Work with manufacturing, operations, and quality
to review and monitor quality and process improvements and new product
development. Review operations and plans to meet requirements for sales
planning and to ascertain engineering requirements. Develop and
implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as
preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress
reports, and staff conferences, to inform management of current status
of each project. Direct the review of production costs and product
quality and modify production to maintain and enhance profitable
operation of division. Evaluate product non-conformance and recommend
design modifications. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and
development to all members of the team. Every employee is expected to
