Seeking a Formulation Chemist with 3-5 years of experience in paint, inks, or cosmetics industry! The role involves formulating and optimizing high-performance paints, collaborating with R&D, production, and quality control teams to bring products from concept to commercialization.

Located in Minneapolis, MN

Pay: $70-$80k/yr

Schedule: First shift

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize water-based architectural coatings for performance and compliance.

Evaluate raw materials and conduct lab experiments to meet industry standards (ASTM, LEED).

Troubleshoot and provide technical solutions during production and scale-up phases.

Collaborate with production for seamless transition from lab to full-scale manufacturing.

Maintain detailed documentation and support quality assurance testing.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.

3-5 years of experience in water-based architectural coatings.

Strong knowledge of coating technologies, resin chemistry, and environmental regulations.

Proficient in lab equipment and testing methods (viscosity, adhesion, scrub resistance).
