Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Summary Provide direct care to
assess patients medical condition, functional capabilities,
limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation. Under
the direction of the licensed OT, establish and administer a treatment
program with specific goals determined by the patients capacity and
tolerance. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and
record the patients condition, and educate patients and families in an
