Job Purpose:
Generates revenue by obtaining orders; understanding requirements; providing information; developing accounts.
Duties:
Assesses competitors and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
Develops sales opportunities of accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; preparing quotations.
Closes new accounts by answering telephone, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
Fills orders by transferring orders to Service Department; communicating expected delivery date.
Develops accounts by checking customers buying history; suggesting new items; explaining features.
Maintains and improves quality by following standards; recommending improved policies.
Updates job knowledge by studying product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes goals by exploring opportunities to add value to your job.
