Job Description:
The Coordinator of the Shoemaker Center works to increase the usage of the facility and expand partnerships with the community. Additionally, the Coordinator helps to increase general health and wellness activities on campus for faculty, staff, and students.
Promote the Shoemaker Center and engage community partners to expand partnerships and increase usage and space rentals of the facilities. Develop strategic plan, under the guidance of the Dean of Campus and Community Relations to increase and advance the utilization of the space. Collaborate with RHE Communications and Marketing to enhance the promotion of the space.
Oversee the daily operation of the Shoemaker Center, ensuring safe operations as well as supervising, training and evaluating student employees. Review and monitor rental revenue and usage and provide regular routine updates.
Collaborate on campus events to encourage and develop student engagement opportunities including student clubs, intramural activities and events. Track, monitor and assess on campus activities and events related to the center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, or vocational or technical school degree in Athletic, Fitness, Business, Communications, or related field
Minimum of 2 years work related experience
Minimum of 2 years supervisory/managerial experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Approved hiring range is $14.65 – $18.68 per hour
