All Candidates must possess a valid Ohio Drivers license, current vehicle insurance and access to a privately own vehicle during scheduled work hours. Candidates must submit to a background and drug/alcohol screening. Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.

Job Type:

– Full-Time

Wage:

– $14.05 per hour

Job Summary:

– Provides day-to-day care to infants or toddlers in an Early Head Start classroom
– Focus on building positive relationships with children and families and using an approved developmentally appropriate curriculum which promotes routines, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the program
– 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year

Requirements:

– High School Diploma or GED
– Certification in First-Aid, CPR, Child Abuse & Neglect and Communicable Disease must be maintained
– Must obtain infant/toddler CDA within one year from hire
– Must be able to communicate effectively- written and verbally
– Must have the ability to assist and relate to a diverse population
– Minimum of two years in infant/toddler care
