Seeking Qualified Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for repairing machines and routine plant maintenance activities.

The candidate will diagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems, inspect machines, and observe operations to detect the cause of malfunctions.

The role involves making repairs and adjustments to keep machinery in production, disassembling and rebuilding machines, and overhauling troublesome components and attachments.

The technician will select replacement parts from parts lists and catalogs, lay out repair parts, and set up and operate machine tools to machine parts.

Additionally, the candidate may improvise some tooling, perform machinists work related to the installation of new machine tools or the relocation of existing machines, and work as part of a project team to complete assignments.

Routine housekeeping activities in the work area are also required, along with other duties as assigned. Work hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. All candidates must complete a Culture Index to be considered for the role.
