NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Human Resources Assistant in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
Assists with recruiting, prescreening, and interviewing processes
Coordinates onboarding and new hire orientation activities including pre-employment verifications, scheduling new hire orientations, creating employee files, and assisting with new hire orientation training
Prepares personnel and payroll change forms and obtains approvals for processing
Maintains human resources database and filing systems including monitoring of expiration dates for trade licenses and recording of safety training/re-training dates
Assists in managing performance reviews, ad-hoc reports, and apprenticeship training
Interacts with all levels of employees as a resource for HR related inquiries and technical assistance with ADP, benefits, email and other on-line systems.
Qualifications
2 years recent office administration experience, Human Resources experience a plus
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills
Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality in communications pertaining to sensitive employee issues and all forms of compensation
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
