Dish Room Worker

JOB REQUIREMENTS: St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked,
private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Lead Dish Room
Worker for Ruths Marketplace. Join at team that is ranked “Best

nationally. This position is responsible for managing the flow of dishes
entering the dish room, rotating working all of the stations in the dish
room, re-stocking dishes and silverware, cleaning and other duties as
assigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Preferably 2
years of experience in an institutional or retail food service industry.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus
environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert
College. Ability to concentrate and focus in a noisy, damp, warm, and
fast-paced environment. This is similar to a fast-paced manufacturing
line where dishes are coming into the dish room on a conveyor belt at a
constant rate; the ability to work very quickly scraping, stacking, and
rinsing dishes is crucial. Ability to interact professionally with
coworkers and customers, particularly in conflict situations. Skilled at
