This is an adjunct (part-time) position. Compensation will be pro-rated according to the amount of workload assigned. CCS reserves the right to cancel this recruitment without notice. Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is a beautiful campus located in the inland Pacific Northwest, on the ancestral home of the Spokane Tribe, near the Spokane River. ## About the Anthropology Instructor – Adjunct

We seek applications for an adjunct (part-time) teaching position for the following hybrid (blended) section in the fall quarter:

– Survey of Anthropology, ANTH& 100, September 20 – December 15: TuTh, 12:05-1:20 pm, in-person lecture, plus 90-minute, asynchronous online instruction.
– Archaeology, ANTH& 204, September 20 – December 15: TuTh, 1:30-2:45 pm pm, in-person lecture, plus 90-minute, asynchronous online instruction.

Continued openings in anthropology are expected for the spring quarter, April 1 – June 18, 2025.

### Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare for and instruct college-level courses in Anthropology in face-to-face, hybrid or online formats based on need of the department.

Communicate expectations and establish clear grading criteria through appropriate instructional means, to include but not limited to developing course syllabi, handouts, and materials supporting the instructional process; evaluates student progress and provides clear, timely feedback.
