Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of advanced
mechanical maintenance service to support the plant facility. Takes a
proactive approach to prevent repairs, and will install, replace and
troubleshoot complex mechanical equipment and distribution systems with
minimum supervision. Uses hand tools and testing instruments. Dismantles
machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local
building and safety codes. This position has the responsibility to
comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to
reinforce Safety as a Core Value.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on complex
mechanical equipment and distribution systems.

2. Fabricates and assembles equipment which may entail welding, cutting
and pipe fitting.

3. Performs emergency repairs on process equipment.

4. Inspects facility equipment on a daily basis performing various
production startup and coverage tasks.

5. Trouble-shoots any repairs PLC, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or
hydraulic components.

6. Uses prints, specifications, follows verbal instructions to make
repairs to ordinary plumbing and electrical systems. Installs and
threads pipe, performs soldering and cutting.

7. Assists in the installation of equipment.

8. Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery.

9. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by
the SQF Practitioner.

10. Participate in and adhere to all HazMat, Confined Space and LOTO
trainings

11. All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to
appropriate personnel such as QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ
Manager, etc.

12. All other duties as assigned.
