Part-Time Faculty: CRS 325.13/325.14 Presentational Speaking (Spring 2025)

The Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks Part-Time Instructor to teach CRS 325 Presentational Speaking, a 3 credit hour course, during the Spring semester, 2025. There are two open sections.

Teaching 1-2 sections of CRS 325 Presentational Speaking: the fundamentals of effective presentational speaking through the preparation and in-class presentation of numerous short speeches. Consideration is given to the Transactional Model of Communication, to the ethical selection of evidence used to support claims, and to the importance of making active decisions that reflect each presentation’s audience and purpose.
