salary: $31.25 – $34 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Processing daily accounting tasks, including preparing sales tax documents and updating expense files

Performing financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail

Performing general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization

Preparing monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements

Maintaining the general ledger

Assisting with the month-end and year-end financial close process

Coding invoices, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing the monthly books

Reconciling bank accounts at least monthly, verifying deposits, and addressing inquiries from banks

Reconciling cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections

Verifying and/or completing payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts

Managing and maintain lease schedules

Providing outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit

Filing tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies

Maintaining knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures

Other duites as assigned

Skills

CPA (1 year of experience is preferred)

Financial Reporting (5 years of experience is required)

Accounts Payable (5 years of experience is required)

Accounts Receivable (5 years of experience is required)

Payroll Accounting & Benefits (5 years of experience is required)

Purchasing/Procurement (5 years of experience is required)

P and L Reporting (5 years of experience is required)

GAAP (2 years of experience is required)
