Starr RegionalMedical Centeris currently seeking talent to fill the position ofRadiology Techfor ourAthens Family PracticeDepartment.This job is permanent,full-time.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
Reviews patient history and physicians orders. Educates patientregardingprocedures,equipmentand exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation.
When ordered,preparesand administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status asappropriate.
Prepares equipment and supplies.Selectsappropriate exposurefactors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performsappropriate qualitycontrol procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipmentmalfunctionsas necessary.

Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results andidentifiesissues with the quality of imaging results. Takesappropriate actionto resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters,transmitsand reports scan results.

Current ARRT Licensure:□ Preferred X Required
