This is a job for a Quality Technician position with a company located in the Byhalia, MS area. 

Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.

The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the ELIP in Byhalia.

You will be mainly accountable for: Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages. Acquiring and reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes. Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes. Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications for the role: Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 3 months of experience in a distribution / manufacturing environment.  High School Diploma or equivalency.  Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations.  Ability to reach and comprehend information and count inventory accurately.  Ability to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT). Working knowledge of WMS and Radio Frequency (RF) unit. Ability to walk, bend, stretch at all module levels- not afraid of heights, required to stand for extended periods of time throughout shift. Flexible to work different shifts as required and overtime with little or no notice.More about us We value people from different backgrounds.
