Field Operations Associate 352134

This is a job for a Field Operations Associate with a company located in the Scott, MS area.

Responsibilities: Assist in planting, pollinating, harvesting, threshing, shipping, weeding, preparing fields, preparing seed, sampling, detasseling, rogueing, and other field and seed activities related to crops and fields. May operate a tractor, combine, or harvester. Most field labor activities occur outdoors. Must be able to lift weights over 25lbs, be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, handle repetitive job tasks, and can perform tasks at waist level and below (bending over). May drive a company vehicle to bring materials and equipment to and from work sites/fields. May operate farming equipment such as a sprayer or thresher. Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the farms and assets. Provide support for the clients Safety program by adhering to all safety policies and attendance at regular company sponsored safety meetings. Assist by carrying out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  1-3 Years of Experience. Activities will require bending and lifting, long periods of sitting or standing. Extended hours or shift work may be requested during the peak seasons. Must be able to read and write, to understand verbal and written task and safety instructions delivered in English, and to perform assigned tasks accurately. Must be able to adhere to all client SOPs when carrying out assigned tasks and to support all site safety requirements. Must be able to function as a team member, and to take daily direction from supervisors and managers.
