Shipping and Planning Supervisor – req18651

This is a job for a Shipping and Planning Supervisor with a company located in the Ellisville, MS area.

Responsibilities: You will lead and maintain the overall activities of the shipping and production planning areas, including prioritizing, assigning, and optimizing work assignments, overtime, and administrative duties, and ensure employees understand and complete delegated tasks. In this position, you will set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with companys plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates. This position will build positive employee relationships based on defined measurable goals, open communication, and participative management including constructive feedback and coaching. You will support Open Communication with active listening of employee concerns and with the support of Human Resources. Further, you will foster good working relations, teamwork and communication among operators and other departments. Maintain timekeeping, personnel records including preparing and submitting performance records and make recommendations on reward and promotion based on performance. You will also support the interviewing, hiring and training of new employees and their continual development.

Qualifications: You will need a bachelors degree with 2-3 years of experience, or 10 years of related experience; Equivalent combination education & experience will be considered. Having experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Communicating in a highly professional way with customers is needed. This position required excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and outstanding organizational, problem solving and leadership skills. You will need a good knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
