Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 – $23 / Hour

What youll be doing as a Distillery Laboratory Technician:

Sample Preparation: Collect Mash, Fermentation

Testing, includes: Total Acids, Ballings, pH, HPLC sample preparation

Database entry

General Housekeeping of Distillery Laboratories

Commitment for the Companys ISO program including the quality and food safety of our products.

Other duties as assigned by management

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening) 3rd Shift (Night) & Weekends

Job requirements:

Preferred 4-year Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 2-year Associate Degree

Preferred 2-3 years in a laboratory environment.

Preferred 2-3 years in the Beverage Ethanol Industry

Must be able to take direction from management

Have good communication and interpersonal skills

Be accurate and consistent in performing duties

Proficient analytical and technical skills

Must be able to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally required to climb or balance.

Must be able to work in high temperature environment.

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis

Must be able to physically navigate around a plant/production environment, including the repetitive climbing of stairs and elevated walkways.

must be able to work 12 hours night shift including holidays
