Senior Manager, Learning & Developmentisaneducation, training and developmentroleforthe US Business Unit.This individualis responsible for developing, implementing and measuring the impact of learning strategies and programs for US-field based, HCP-facing teams. The primary focus of the Learning & Development team is to ensure the growth and development of our people through clinical competence and skill-based learning along with strategic agility and leadership development.
This is a full-time, exempt, remote role tied to the Chesterbrook office reporting to the Director, Learning and Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizeinternalandexternalresourcestodevelop,administer,andoptimizelearningexperiencesandprograms fromonboardingthroughcareer developmentwithinrole
- Able to take ownership, lead without authority and eager to contribute to the success of the entire team
- Able to lead learning functions with sound decision-making skills and expertise
- Demonstrate skill in applying approaches, tools and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaboraitve manner
- Exhibit up-to-date knowledge of clinical, marketplace and the business of oncology
- Demonstrate ability to manage through change; effective prioritization skills
- Ensure strong communication andpartnershipwiththe sales, marketing, medical and othercross-functional partnersandsubject matter expertsto identifyindividuallearningneeds
- Gainalignment through collaborationonnew and existing learninginitiatives
- Championconsistencyandqualityoflearningmaterials,learningdelivery,and learningsustainabilityacrossfunctions
- Demonstrate the ability to assess learning needs; make appropriate recommendations and supposrt the design and development of new learning assets as needed
- Employ varied methods of learning delivery to accommodate multiple learning styles & information needs
- Reinforce training as aculture of ongoing learningand development initiatives
- Leverage projectmanagementskillsto schedule,organize,andexecutemultipledetailedundertakings,producingon-timedeliverables
- Use analytic skills to monitor KPIs and trends
- Conductfieldvisits,classroomfacilitation,andparticipateinoff-sitemeetings
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
- 7-10 yearsexperiencein biotech/pharmaceutical, durable medical equipmentormedicaldevicesales –Experiencecan be across acombinationof sales, salesleadership, sales training, clinical education, marketing, training
- 2 years of Learning and Development experience
- 2 yearsin oncologyexperience preferred
- Bachelorsdegree or equivalent experiencerequired.Masters degreeinrelevantarea preferred
- Exceptionaloral/writtencommunication,interpersonaland faciliationskills
- Collaborate and work cross-functionallytoprioritizecontributionstothe overall successoftheteam
- Expert knowledgeof traininggoals for sales, medical, leadership, functional skillsandthe abilitytocoach teammembers
- Successful track record as demonstrated by role ofincreasingresponsibility
- Experience with vendor management specializing in training platforms for sales, medical, marketing and leadership excellence
- Demonstrates passion for helping people learn and grow
OTHER:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours
- Travel 40%
