Job Title: Data Entry Specialist
Job Description
This person will be performing data entry as they receive results from other referral labs. This data will already be given to them; they will just need to enter it into their internal system. They will also be scanning, copying, and documenting orders and results to send to different labs. Typically, they will have less than 50 results daily that they will have to enter, but volume could vary.
Responsibilities
Understand and perform to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
Maintain donor privacy and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Use appropriate systems to accurately perform data entry functions.
Review preparation of all supplemental and third-party laboratory reports, ensuring accuracy in content, spelling, and document format.
Handle reporting of all supplemental and third-party laboratory testing.
Maintain, organize, and archive laboratory records for long-term storage.
Manage customer requests and resolve sample problems promptly and courteously.
Use written and verbal communication skills to provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers, and appropriately document interactions.
Support the maintenance of general supply inventory, as needed.
May train others on job tasks, as assigned.
Provide support to client services specialists and other administrative personnel as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role Monday – Friday with no holidays or weekends. The shift is flexible as long as they start between 7am – 10am and work 8 hours. Parking is provided.
