We are looking for a high-caliber & enthusiastic individual seeking interest as an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. This candidate must have a strong work ethic. They also must be capable of operating at a high tempo, and have an ability to adapt in a challenging environment to achieve customer supply and demand. This position will work closely with company leadership to ensure customer service orders are processed and completed to the highest standard. Duties and Responsibilities include: – Record and maintain records, e.g. bill of ladings, scale tickets, receipts, etc. – Assist with railyard inventory – Must monitor, respond, and process email correspondence and calls from customers and vendors – Work closely coordinating with terminal manager to ensure required paperwork is processed for all loads being transported and delivered – Occasionally assist with employee orientation and training – Be an effective liaison between drivers, terminal managers, and company management; this will also include the promoting of morale and positive reinforcement. – Provides timely communication of critical events that need to be considered and/or addressed by Management. – Maintain working knowledge of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), to ensure compliance

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Work Environment
This will be in an office setting as well as the need to drive their car down the street to check on the rail yard.
