Job Description
A leading small business engineering company supporting contracts at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support a heavy design workload. The candidate will provide mechanical engineering support for AN/SPS-67 and AN/SPS-73 Radar Systems and their associated equipment. The role involves supporting Advanced Radars test capability development through the creation of Automated Test Stations for SPY-6 and SEWIP Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). The engineer will derive requirements from LRU Technical Data Packages and test set system requirements, develop mechanical hardware designs, create and maintain drawings, and integrate components to build test sets. The design team collaborates in Cameo systems modeler, and the engineer will independently use Cameo systems modeler and Solid Edge to design systems and draft drawings. This position may convert to a full-time role by May 2025, with opportunities to work directly for the hiring company or its partners post-recompete.
