Our client, a well known auto manufacuturer is seeking an Production Assembly Engineer to support in development and implementation of new model preparation. This role will support the Production Engineering Assembly departments objective to support Assembly Process and Equipment Development for new model launch, refurbishment and Kaizen.

Required:

– Bachelors OR working experience in assembly engineering

– Experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Preparation

– Experience with Equipment Sourcing and Installation

– Experience with 3D modeling and prototype part printing

– Autocad/Solidworks

1 year contract!!

20% Travel!

10% Project Planning

Focused on upcoming model changes.

20% Simultaneous Engineering

For vehicle assembly.

70% Project Management

Overseeing process setup and equipment procurement.

Includes:

Vehicle structure study

Equipment design

Equipment installation

Process design

Supporting new vehicle trials

qualifications:

Experience level:
