Data Scientist

Job Description

During the hectic harvest season, we need a Data Scientist who can quickly adapt and manage the influx of data. The ideal candidate should possess strong data engineering skills, with proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, and AWS, and a solid understanding of their underlying mechanisms. Mastery of internal systems is crucial. Additionally, a background in agriculture or precision agriculture, particularly with combine yield data, etc., is highly desirable. Experience in working with farm data, remote sensing, and geospatial analysis is essential to effectively manage and process the data. We are targeting a pay rate of $55-63/hr

Skills and Requirements

2 years of expereince as a Data Engineer / Data Scientist

 Strong Python Development experience

 Professional experience working with Git

 Experience working with Geospatial Data

 Ability to manage data effectively and ensure accuracy. Prior Industry Experience working with Crop Yield Data

 Background in agriculture or precision agriculture. null
