Responsibilities

Food Service Associates are responsible to create a pleasant, quality meal experience for patients.

Prepare and deliver meal trays to patients according to diet orders.

Handles and prepares food in accordance with food safety regulations.

Communicate with nursing and the cooks to provide accurate & quality meal service to patients & residents.

Limited food preparation for café and patients, including therapeutic diets.

Answer department phone calls and respond to requests.

Operate the cash register and dish machine.

Assist with putting away freight & stocking of food in kitchenettes.

Maintains cleanliness & sanitary standards.

Participates in department communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay Range

$14.82 – $20.38 /hour
