We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team
in Decatur, Illinois.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and
direction to plant maintenance department responsible for repair,
maintenance, installation of machines, tools and keep equipment in ready
condition.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety:

– Champion safety through direct instruction and monitoring of
employees.
– Ensure that employees perform their tasks in a safe manner which is
in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
– Manage the environmental program, including waste reduction
initiatives and proper control and disposal of waste.
– Quickly address and fix safety issues that need maintenance to
repair.
– Assist in the development and promotion of the safety program.

Quality:

– Maintain the plants equipment and facilities, including the
accurate diagnosis of problems and the timely and cost effective
repair.
– Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with
operational standards.
– Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and
statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
– Identifies continuous improvement initiatives for equipment
reliability and employee development.

On-Time Delivery:

Control operating budget to plan, including the investigation of cost
effective solutions to machine and facility repairs.

Maximize productivity by effectively planning and executing work.
