Pay: $22 based on weld test

Shift: 1st (6AM – 2:30PM)

Job Description

As a Welder, your primary responsibilities will include welding to custom fabricate, working on shell and tube heat exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and Tanks. You will perform MIG flux-core welding on a variety of stainless, carbon, and precious metals using 045 wire, and engage in TIG welding. Additional duties include fitting, code welding, and blueprint reading.

Skills

MUST be able to back gouge/air arc

MIG experience

TIG experience (preferred)

Flux core welding

Welding of fabricated heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and tanks

Experience in fabricating steel products

Perform measurements

Experienced in reading blueprints and weld symbol knowledge

Knowledgeable with layout and fabrication of product

Physical capability for requirements of job, including lifting 50lbs

Work Site

Fully on-site in Decatur, IL. Welders who pass test will go through training for ASME code level welding. Overtime available but not required.
