The Eagle Internal Medicine clinic is looking to hire a team-oriented and confident Medical Assistant!

Position Summary & Highlights :

This MA position will primarily support a new Internal Medicine physician to the clinic.

Saint Alphonsus internal medicine providers are specially trained to diagnose and treat chronic and complex conditions, often caring for patients with more than one disease.

Our physicians work closely with our certified nurse practitioners (NP-C) to coordinate treatment and allow for easier access to follow up appointments – including annual wellness visits and procedures.

This clinic boasts a very positive, fun, and highly team-oriented environment in a very nice clinic location!

What You Will Do:

In addition to typical MA duties, you will perform POC testing, immunizations, med refills, patient calls and triage, and assisting with minor procedures and healthcare assessments when needed.

You will primarily be working with older patients so appointments will be longer (2 hours for new patients, 1 hour for follow up appointments) due to the patient meeting with multiple providers/staff on the team.

You will have the opportunity to cross train in Geriatrics as well to be able to support MAs and other providers when needed.

An ideal candidate will be team-oriented, have a positive attitude, and is flexible and adaptable.

You will also have a sense of urgency during the rooming process and with any orders or tasks since the patient may meet with several providers and staff during their visit.

You will also enjoy developing relationships with patients and you are dedicated and committed to providing the best patient care!

Work Schedule :

36 hours per week, Mondays – Fridays, schedule can vary between the hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm based on clinic needs.
