Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team that supports the aerospace, defense, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in quality assurance and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the safety and reliability of aerospace and defense products.
Perform thorough inspections of aerospace components, assemblies, and systems according to established procedures and specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to verify dimensional accuracy and functionality of parts. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, damages, or anomalies in materials or processes. Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of all findings and non-conformances. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards. Monitor compliance with customer requirements, industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, DoD). Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency. Conduct audits of suppliers and subcontractors to verify adherence to quality standards and specifications. Maintain calibration and verification of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Work Environment
Woman-owned company with 17 employees. Will be working within the inspection room mostly, with some time spent on the floor as well
