Job Title: Welder Assembler

Job Description

At OSW, you will work on heavy industrial parts for dump trucks and build them from the ground up. Experience working on these types of trucks is a MUST for a level 3 candidate. The role involves installation mechanics to safely and efficiently troubleshoot and install mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include understanding air systems and operations, basic welding, console installation, pump installation, and handling hydraulics and pneumatics.

Hard Skills

Experience working on dump trucks

Electric & hydraulic connection/plumbing

Basic understanding of air systems & operations

Basic welding

Console installation

Pump installation

Large assembly installation (e.g., tanks and saddles)

Body electrical outfit

Soft Skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to read service and repair manuals

Ability to read blueprints or schematics

Ability to learn and work in a team environment

Ability to read a tape measure and calculate differences in measurements

Ability to weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) is preferred

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tempe, Arizona.
