IT Programmer II

The Office of Administrative Computing invites applicants to apply for a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The position will report to the Director of Administrative Computing. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary Range: $60,673 – $100,093.

Responsibilities:

– Designs, codes, test, debugs, documents, and maintains computer programs within the applicable environment.
– Develops complex programs which may include programming to include interpreting specifications.
– Designs program logic to achieve performance.
– Participates in strategies for total system and application security.
– Assists other programming staff with responding to inquiries and requests from clients.
– Creates special reports and file extracts from existing databases.
– Collects and analyzes data concerning applications to determine the purpose of the application, work methods used, cause and effect of problems and improvements needed.
– Consults with users to plan, develop, evaluate and revise applications.
– Performs other related duties as assigned.
