Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This full-time position is located at the Georgia Power Plant Bowen in Cartersville, Georgia.

Pay rate:

$17.30 – $23.79 / hour

Higher starting pay with relevant experience.

Job Summary:

General Construction Site Labor Activities.

Essential Functions:

Cleaning and preparing construction sites.

Loading and unloading materials and equipment.

Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.

Operating and tending machinery misc. heavy equipment.

Following instructions from supervisors.

Assisting tradespeople in their duties.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

Previous construction industry experience.

Training Requirements:

Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.

Experience:

Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is preferred.

Other Information:

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, climb, and operate vehicles and small equipment.

Must be able to work in a construction environment including possible inclement weather.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Be at least 18 years of age.

Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
