Minimum/Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Education,
Education Administration, Adult Education, Extension Education, or other
field related to the duties of this position. Degree must be completed
by application date. Experience in cross-cultural communication with
ability to engage Spanish speaking audiences through the utilization of
bi-literate and bicultural skills. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills (English and Spanish) including effective use of
digital communication tools (traditional and web-based) and printed
media with both English and Spanish. Experience building collaborations
with external organizations and maintaining professional relationships
with external stakeholders. A commitment to collaborative and respectful
learning and working environments that are safe, inclusive, and
welcoming. Ability to work with audiences from diverse backgrounds and
various cultural identities and to build community around culturally
relevant programming. General knowledge and ability to use computers,
including information technology, professional office software and
collaborative work platforms. Ability to learn and adapt to using
multiple forms of digital communication systems, including websites,
email newsletters, social media, and other tools in a changing
technological environment. Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision and manage competing time demands, while also working as a
collaborative member of a geographically separated team. Ability to
successfully interact with youth 12-19 years of age (7th through 12th
