Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
Compensation: $21.52 – $21.52 per hour

Skookum is seeking a reliable and hard-working Equipment Operator with a positive attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the baling of all accepted recyclable materials.
Responsible for completing all maintenance on the baler / baling shed.
Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures at all times. Responsible for safety awareness at all times at the recycling center.
Responsible for operating other equipment required to complete the assigned job and will be certified by Skookum.
Responsible for filling out all necessary daily documentation.
This is a physically demanding job that requires the employee to stand for long periods of time. The employee will also be required to do heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 100 pounds safely.
Responsible for communicating with customers and co-workers in a courteous, professional manner.
Operates Bobcat, Skid Steer and Forklift to move recyclable materials at facility.
Responsible for documenting product volumes.
Perform litter patrol and grounds maintenance on a regular basis.
Packaging electronics for proper disposal.
Shredding confidential documents appropriately.
Assists in maintaining general cleanliness of the recycling warehouse.
Responsible for recognizing hazardous material and alerting the recycling manager.
Operators shall observe and obey speed limits and other safety regulations.
All materials are removed and relocated without damage.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Ensure all materials are safely, efficiently, securely loaded, transported and unloaded.
Ensure load capacities of the material handling and transportation requirements for hazardous materials.
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required.
May assist with routine maintenance of machinery.
Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures at all times.
Provide customer service and operate a till.
Qualifications:
Experience operating Skid Steer, Baler, and forklift required.
6 months of equipment operation required.
CDL preferred.
