MISSION: The Test Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing a wide range of radio frequency (RF) and digital systems, subsystems, and components. This position requires the ability to take direction from the Depot Lead to achieve results in an engineering environment and the ability to respond quickly to customer needs and maintain flexibility while still achieving quality outputs.
YEAR 1 ACCOUNTABILITIES AND METRICS
Develop soldering skills
Metric:Obtain J-STD-001 Certification
Learn to read electrical schematics
Metric:Provide presentation to supervisor
Learn to operate test equipment
Metric:Provide presentation to supervisor
Develop understanding of the circuit elements utilized in the AN/URY-3A and AN/URY-6 Relay/Reporter/Responder (R3) Transponder
Metric:Provide presentation to NuWaves leadership team
Salary Range: $15 – $20/hr
