rAbout This Role:

The Psychological Sciences Department is seeking a Full-Time Research
Assistant, to help with research for Dr. Maria Diehl. The lab research
assistant will help with experimental projects; assist with ordering
supplies, maintaining updated inventory and lab records, and shares
duties with other lab members to handle and care for research animals,
run behavioral experiments, collect data, and maintain an organized
research lab. The research assistant will also assist with tissue
processing, performing tissue assays, and taking microscope pictures.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

– Bachelors Degree
– 1 year of lab experience

Preferred Qualifications:

– 2 years of lab experience with animal handling, experience with
animal tracking software (e.g., AnyMaze), Excel, and coding (e.g.,
RStudio or Python) is a plus

Other Requirements:

– Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
at the time of employment.
