rAbout This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary
Medicine is seeking an Animal Technician I to join our dedicated team to
help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service.
This position supports the routine and specialized care of hospitalized
animals in the VHC by maintaining and ensuring a sanitary and safe
environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This
position is primarily responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of
small animal common and ancillary areas of the hospital. Individuals in
this position must be self-motivated and detail oriented. This is an
overnight shift.

employer premises or designated assignment location.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

Preferred Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– 3 yrs Experience with Companion Animals/Exotics
– Some College
– Experience with Companion Animals/Exotics in a clinical, kennel,
cattery, pet shop setting

Other Requirements:

– Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
at the time of employment.
