We are looking for aCNC Operator, who will lead a defined number of
CNC machines as a super work cell. This responsibility includes
mastering the work cell machines, setting up jobs, inspecting final
parts, communicating with operators or attendants in the same super work
cell, communicating with maintenance and those responsible for tooling
and programming. This full-time position is based out of Cashco, Inc.
headquarters in Ellsworth, KS.

First Shift: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Second Shift: 1 – 11:30 p.m. (Monday through Thursday)

Responsibilities:

– Load and unload machines to produce parts that represent the output
of the machine shop.
– Deburr parts after the CNC process has been completed.
– Assist with set-up when more than one machine is down for set-up.
– Change inserts/drills to maintain the efficiency part of production.
– Move parts to deburr area to promote flow of parts out of the
machine shop.
– Keep area clean to support 5S objectives.
– Adjust offsets through run to maintain critical elements of the CNC
process.
– Responsible for own work; some direct or indirect control over
expenses and revenues.
– Works with strict adherence to guidelines; deviations must be
authorized by supervisor.
– May make limited decisions on how work is to be done for self or
others.

Education:

– High school diploma, or equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

– 1-2 years of machining experience required.
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
– Strong mathematical background.
– Previous experience manufacturing experience preferred.
– Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects
and perform physical tasks daily.
– Ability to read blueprints.
– Must be extremely reliable and dependable.
– Must be a team player.
– Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50 pounds with or without
accommodations are required in all positions.

Education and experience will determine beginning wage.
